Greek islands are scattered in the sea as whole archipelagos. One of the islands of the Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea is Syros. It is less known than Santorini, thus it is better place for those looking for a relaxing, leisurely holiday. Here, unlike on Santorini and Mykonos which are packed with tourists, you can fully experience the real Greek hospitality. There are many historic buildings and churches in the narrow streets of the island. And in cozy little restaurants you can always try the freshest and incredibly tasty local dishes.

This island is considerably less known than neighboring Crete. However, the untouched local nature is protected. Pink sand and clear warm water are perfect for those who like to spend their days at the beach. During low tide you can walk here right from Crete. Just 200 meters along the sandbank, and you are practically on a desert island.

This island is often mentioned in history and mythology. They say that it was here that Theseus died after he was thrown off a cliff.

The landscape of the island is peculiar. Neat houses are built on the slopes of the forested mountains. There are many caves on the coast. Magnificent local beaches will certainly conquer at first sight. This place is appreciated by lovers of yoga and surfing.

It is the largest island in the Cyclades archipelago but there are fewer tourists here than on the famous neighboring Santorini and Mykonos. And that is great! Olive groves, fishing and sightseeing are what Naxos will delight its guests with. Here you can also enjoy water activities.

Located very close to the Peloponnese, this small rocky island is 1 kilometer long and only 300 meters wide. The isthmus connecting it with the Peloponnese was formed in 375 A.D. as a result of an earthquake. The medieval fortress and Byzantine churches are well preserved, and ancient squares together with narrow streets create a unique flavor here. You can stay overnight in hotels located in medieval buildings.

The largest of the Ionian Islands. The local beach of Myrtos is considered the most beautiful in all of Greece: located between two mountains, it creates a secluded and relaxed atmosphere.
